Organic milk (SNAP!)

Did you see the news today? Organic milk is apparently better for you than regular milk, according to scientists, because of the higher amounts of Omega 3 fatty acids, you know, the heart-healthy kinds of fatty acids.

Here’s NPR’s post.

For people with diabetes, high blood pressure and high triglycerides, that’s great news!

For people on SNAP, not so good. If they buy the better milk, it leaves less resources for other items.

We’ll have to forego the organics for now. :-p
